Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I get to eat awesome food, see family and friends, and be reminded of what’s good in my life and the world. Far too often we are bombarded with what is not good. If you haven’t seen it yet, there is a video making the rounds on Facebook showing acts of kindness in our world. We live in a fast-paced, do-it-now, technologically enhanced and driven environment that makes a lot of demands on us and our fellow beings on this planet. Thanksgiving is a time to stop and remember the things that we have and can do for each other.

Grateful for my family

Giving back is a concept in which I believe fully. I don’t have too many strict beliefs but I strongly hold to the thought that the good I put out, I’ll get back. I am by no means perfect but I try to let this be one of the guiding principles in my life. I want to encourage others to do the same. However you choose to give back, I hope you do so freely.

And by getting back, I don’t mean necessarily reaping material rewards, but having a good flow of energy that will give me the power to face all challenges I may face. This, to me, is very meaningful, and I always feel so good when I’m able to give help to others. It’s a win-win!

One way I’d like to encourage you to give back is to open your home to a foster animal. There are many homeless dogs and cats out there who could benefit from being out of a shelter environment and in a home where they can learn social skills, be promoted for adoption by their foster family, and just be happier and out of dog jail, and out of the grips of possible euthanasia. Some have special medical or behavioral needs and can heal / rehabilitate better in a loving home environment.

As the Christmas holiday approaches, far too many buy animals as gifts, which are relinquished to shelters once the novelty has worn off and they realize a puppy or kitten wasn’t the best idea. It takes work and patience! Shelters and rescues are bombarded as a result, and there is limited space. If you are willing to open your home to a homeless animal, we will not charge extra fees for these wonderful souls! Please consider some room in your heart and home for these innocent animals.

Whatever way you choose to give back, it’s likely to make a huge impact. We are thankful for your referrals and want to give back to YOU, our clients! Starting immediately, any new bookings we receive that say you referred them, you will get $5 off your next bill. There is no limit to how many referrals you can generate and there is no expiration date on these $5 credits. We really appreciate your business and your advocacy of our company!

We hope you have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. Remember to be careful with your furry ones around all the delicious treats! Check out Sarah’s blog for some tips and don’t hesitate to contact us with questions.

We are so happy to know you and grateful for your support. Happy Thanksgiving!
